"The staff was very helpful with our late arrival. However, the room was very disappointing. There were stains on the blankets, blue liquid dripping out of the fridge, and the window shook the whole night. There were lots of noises from the building outside of our room. We were only in the room for about 9 hours so I tried to ignore those issues. When we went to continental breakfast, I noticed there were paper plates to be used rather than real plates and utensils. The staff there was also super friendly. But the food was very disappointing. I will not be returning. "

"Amazing, friendly, charming, helpful staff, they let us talk their ear off at the bar and were deeply knowledgable about the mansion's history and Buffalo's scene. Was there in a pinch to offer us extra water bottles or silverware, the small things you forget about when staying at a hotel. Great breakfast options. Immaculate interior, and I really appreciated the local fine art that adorned the walls. So many places do the boring, predictable touristy local maps and travel posters and call it art, this was a step above, as this storied mansion deserved. "
