Good budget friendly stay

The room are amazing. Staffs were welcoming and nice, the property was little un maintained. The property has a pub which had good crowd. Overall a decent stay.

They didn’t give me my security deposit back. I left the room clean and nothing damaged. I also called them and they said they would check but still nothing. Thats why they only get 2 stars

Very good for the price

Friendly staff, comfortable and clean room. Recently upgraded bathroom, very nice. Can't expect anymore from 2 star hotel, very good price for what we got.

I was a Wednesday night stop, so it was peaceful, clean room in a pub with pub grub. I have dietary issues so had breakfast at Skoosh up the road.

Very helpful staff. This hotel is at the affordable end of the market, and that should be taken into account. Staff couldn't have been more kind and helpful. Allowed me to leave my car for a few days whilst I was away walking, which was much appreciated.

Nice and friendly staff. No WiFi and only one outlet in room. Shared bathroom has mold in shower. Room was dated. Mattress very old with stains. Old TV that didn’t work well.

The room was fine, relatively spacious and clean. The restaurant, used for both dinner and breakfast was very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The one negative was the three nightclubs that operate within the premises on Friday and Saturday nights. One in particular is extremely loud and goes on until 03:00, making sleeping nigh on impossible. To be fair, it is mentioned on the reservation form but it is right down the bottom of page 2 and I hadn't spotted it before my arrival.

Offered room available during a refurb. Didn’t know until I got there. No hot water that night (which can happen in smaller premises) but none again the next morning. The radiator in the room wasn’t putting out any heat as it needed bleeding. The floor was filthy in my room and there was little sound proofing for other rooms either side as I could hear everything they said even at 4am when the bloke next door decided to call home! Bed linen was clean and mattress comfortable. Met 2 staff members who were lovely. Wouldn’t stay again. Emailed Dannielle the general manager requesting a refund but have had no reply.

Room and staff were good. Was required to pay a damages deposit on check in which seemed unusual and was not expected. Only issue was the loud noise from the disco downstairs (only on Friday and Saturday nights until 1am) which there was no prior warning about.

Hotel is very run down, we waited at the reception for a bit before being seen to! Hallway and stairs are in need of a good clean and paint! Very run down. Room was freezing, no heating on. Damp on windows and ceiling and that was supposed to be a refurbished room! Needless to say we didn’t stay and left straight away! Out of pocket. Light fitting in hall hanging down from ceiling (dangerous). Hallway hadn’t even been hoovered. STAY CLEAR OF THIS HOTEL!!!

We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the accommodation and the fact that the bed was far too narrow for two adults. Even though the staff was kind, these issues made our stay uncomfortable.

Decor very tired and in need of renovation. Very long wait for room to be ready, despite arriving 90 mins after nominal check in time. Warned about noise from live music , however this was right below my room and noise continued well past 1am (not music, patrons leaving, band clearing up). could not recommend a stay at this hotel, at any time, but especially on a Saturday night.
