"My husband and I have just completed 9 days at Tokyu Stay and absolutely loved it. The hotel was small , exceptionally clean and the staff were very gracious and professional. My husband left his iPhone in the taxi on arrival at the hotel and Julie ( and some of her colleagues) worked extremely hard to track it down and did so successfully, for which we were very grateful. Although the breakfast had limited choices it was ample. The fact that the hotel was situated very close to the Takanawa Gateway JR line was a real plus. We love returning after a busy day sightseeing to the much quieter area of Takanawa. Also the food options in this huge shopping precinct were amazing. I have no hesitation recommending this hotel. "

"I’m going to give my honest opinion! Everyone talked about how small the hotels in Tokyo are. However this particular hotel was exceptional. It is big compared to other hotels we stayed in Japan. There is a lot of drawer to put our clothes and also a good sized closet. The hotel provides almost everything to make our stay conducive. From the entrance, lobby and to the room itself you’ll be amazed. I loved the fact that it has 711 in the basement for a quick grab. And it is about seven minutes walk to shinagawa station. And the breakfast buffet has both Japanese and western selections. There is so much to choose from. And the staffs were so helpful. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Tokyo"

"PROS: near the train station, staff is friendly, like the rain shower head CONS: Room is small even for 2 guests; no place to open two luggage bags at the same time on the floor. There is no exhaust fan in the toilet and the door cannot be kept open to vent. The shower area is right next to the bed. The air of the room becomes very humid after shower because there is no ventilation in the room either. The room is small to begin with, and I do not understand the reason for a shoe shine device lying in the room."

"The location is so convenient. The room is a bit small and inside the room, the decorative pillow is so old and a bit dirty. Why not just give two pillows for each bed? "

"Rooms comfortable, but very dated, and generally quite shabby. Hotel is split across numerous different annexed levels. Had to skip the breakfast service due to huge queue/ inadequate provision for number of guests. This hotel needs renovation."

"The room I stayed was tidy and cosy. Good to have free coffee&tea and one bottle of water every day. Good location！Breakfast was a little disappointed, other than that A very nice hotel and I will probably stay this hotel next time as well."
