"Nice family operated place providing great service in a rural area! Place is well maintained and staff super friendly. My only disappointment was that just around the guest area there is a lot of plastic trash and rust metal. I believe it is in their reach to tidy it up. "Nice-sized room with a clean, sanitary bathroom. The pool was very nice, and breakfast was delicious, though a bit slow to be prepared. The hotel was very helpful with arranging taxis and scooter rentals, and the welcome drink upon arrival was a nice touch. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily. There’s a small workout area by the pool along with games, which was a nice bonus. The location is a bit remote, but there are several good restaurants nearby."

Pool is nice and clean. We even had a massage right in our room. Hotel offers taxi service, tours and bike rental. Definitely would recommend a stay at the Dagan Bungalows. "

"Gorgeous property! It has only 10 bungalows making it a more intimate and private lodging option. The only con for me was the food. Breakfast was included with the room and it was ok. Dinner was a bit of a disappointment. The hotel is close to Crystal Bay and they offer free shuttle service to and from the beach which is amazing because, as some people warned me, Nusa Penida is a bit difficult to navigate on your own due to the conditions of the roads. Also the staff of the hotel was amazing!...

"MAUA has been by far the best place we stayed at during our trip to Indonesia Everything was perfect - the villa, the private pool overlooking a sunset bay, the sophisticated menu and the service. Absolutely fabulous!! "
