"Hotel located in the Venetian part of Chania, close to many taverns, shops and beaches. Staff were wonderful and helpful when required. The room we had was spacious and nicely restored. Common area balcony overlooked the harbor and was a great place to relax during the evenings. You won't be disappointed if you stay here. "

"Advertising was misleading, there is limited dining, they stop taking meal orders at 16:45, we arrived at 6:30, to find out we couldn’t get dinner, no restaurants in walking distance. Beach is a long ways away, and not private."

"We had a fantastic time at camping Chania. Staff were great. Tents are clean and comfortable. Pool and bar area is good and great for lunch time snacks or a beer and ice cream. Beautiful beach, restaurants and shops near by within a 5min walk. Local bus will take you into Chania town too. We will definitely be back!!!"

"What a beautiful property and what a beautiful, extreme professional staff the only exception is the swimming pool situation when I’m seeing kids defecating inside the pool and that was a turn off for the experience, not be able to use the pool because of what I’ve seen between dirty diapers and parents tried to hide the kids number one and number two it was very, very, very upsetting. Overall the hotel is very nice. but for that reason alone, I will never come there again, especially when it’s a vacation resort and I would like to use the facilities, especially the pool "

"We’ve stayed at Samaria Hotel on many occasions and find it quite charming each visit… The staff are very friendly, often going above and beyond to ensure your stay is wonderful… The pool is a great asset, alongside the on-site enclosed parking area… A block away from the main port of Chania so no need for a car in the evenings if you’re staying close by… Overall a wonderful hotel, with a wonderful location! "We have had an amazing experience in Phos Hotel. Great service, people at the hotel were always smiley and willing to help you. Breakfast was great and there is option to also have a drink or eat at the bar of the main pool. The swim up hotel room was TOP. Silent, clean, great pool… I would have never left. We 200% recommend this hotel! Additionally there are many restaurants in the area at walkable distance so no need to take the care every day to go out for dinner, unless you want to go to Chania."
