"I booked the Royal Toby as a solo traveller. I was made so welcome by the reception staff. I was immediately put at ease. Nothing was too much trouble. My room was spacious and airy. Consisting of a double bed and a big single bed. Facilities were excellent with tea making facilities. And all amenities you would expect. The room was veryclean. "This is a new first rate hotel, close to the opera house Manchester. Upon arrival a warm welcome by staff. We were upgraded to a suite which was absolutely amazing. We have stayed in great rooms over the years but this had everything including bath in the bedroom, walk in wardrobe with Peleton well stocked bar. We ate Dinner at the hotel and had done previously. "The room was large enough with a nice ensuit shower room. Curtains were a good black-out. Really good selection of freshly cooked breakfast especially the black pudding. Left some stuff in my room and the staff contacted me that evening and posted it on. Thanks"

"I have now stayed here 3times in 6 weeks I love the place staff brilliant I travel to watch Wigan at rugby league 230 miles each time as for the beds the most comfortable I have had and I do not stay in the same room different each time wake up really refreshed love the place"

"Room was newly renovated and very spacious. Gym and pool were excellent, best gym I’ve ever seen as a hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we slept awfully, the hotel/room above us was so noisy. All we could hear all evening and through the night was the tv, banging and snoring. "
