I didn't have an issue with this property per say, I had an issue with the room we received. So the units are individually managed by different vendors or agents. Our room was clean but the shower was broken, there was mold on the wall, the AC worked. The wifi did not work. The room was also very small. I would say this room is for solo travelers versus a couple. It was just challenging it get in touch with the host. The wifi not working made even communication exhausting. Thankful for the international plan I had on my cell, that was our saving grace. The agent was nice but she was attending to other guests who had reservations. Thankfully when we reached out to Expedia they worked things out for us to check into a new hotel.

My husband & I have stayed at the Embassy Gardens several times & have always enjoyed our stay. This time was very disappointing. Communication is very poor. Too many people to go through between the host/landlord/building manager/reception.. they had us switching rooms twice in 2 days & tried to make us move a 3rd time. We only booked 4 days! The room we settled in was not the best either..
Shower/sink drain backing up, air conditioning in sitting room not working well, bed mattress was very uncomfortable, kitchen lacking cooking supplies that are advertised online, no furniture or clothes drying rack on the balcony. Our hope was to be relaxed, instead we got stress. Sadly, we will not be returning in the future nor referring anyone else to stay at Embassy Gardens.

The host was friendly and explained things well. The room is as described but it needs a little updating. In the bathroom, the wall paper was lifting and the corners of the bed had peeled away leaving some sharp edges.The bathroom light switch was unstable and the plug on the iron is chipped and did not stay in the wall. There was no ironing board and no long mirror in the property and no hangers in the wardrobe. Also no can opener. We did have an issue with the WiFi and I messaged the host whom promptly topped up the data. There was a mix up with my check out day and a lady came to my room saying she had me down to check out that day and I had to show her my reservation. The lady came an hour before check out time & on the day we were leaving. If guests have not checked out when it’s time, then it’s appropriate to come to their room, not before they have checked out.Those were my only complaints Other than that everything was fine. I stayed at Embassy in another property prior which was a one bed apartment and much bigger but that property had roaches & bugs. I would stay at Embassy Gardens again due to it’s location to town, quiet neighbourhood, access to the gym and on site cafe with room service, 24 hr security, cctv throughout and facial recognition entry at reception. The staff & security at reception can be a little more friendly and welcoming but overall the grounds are well maintained and there is access to three swimming pools.

For peace of mind and a serene environment, you can’t beat the price in Accra . Had a problem with my AC , told the host and he had it fixed asap! and that was my only problem; other than that, My stay was amazing and will definitely return whenever I find myself in Ghana

Everyone thankfully speaks English, but the accent can be difficult to understand at times, which made communication a little challenging. Upon arriving at Embassy Gardens and checking in, the strong cologne around the front desk was overwhelming and immediately gave me a sinus headache. It would be appreciated if this could be toned down.
When I entered my room, the A/C unit was off and the room was hot and humid. Because I am from the USA, my phone initially did not work without WiFi, so I could not contact the front desk right away. There was also no phone in the room to call for assistance. I eventually remembered that a staff member had shown me the WiFi password so I could photograph it. Once connected, I called the front desk and was told to look for a switch near the unit. After searching, I finally found a remote control and turned on the A/C, but the experience was frustrating.
I also spent two days showering with cold water because the hot water switch was labeled simply “Hot Water” and placed beneath a coffee maker, which made it appear related to making coffee or tea rather than the bathroom. The shower drain was slow and took about ten minutes to begin draining. There were also no instructions for operating the TV.
Overall, this was one of the more challenging hotel stays I’ve had. Clearer instructions in the room and a little more guidance from staff would make the experience much more comfortable for guests.

The room was nice. there was 2 of us and they only gave us 1 towel no wash cloth. Thought it was like a hotel that provided curtain things like bath towels wash cloths but it didn’t. There were no seating on the balcony. The balcony was big spacious but no seating out there. Our bed was broken lopsided. The duvet was filthy however the duvet cover was clean. Our host was nice his Name was Charles. The restaurant was top notch the service was great food was good compliments to the chef the drinks were delicious compliments to the bartenders and the servers were great guys. There were 3 pools they were great beautiful at night. Fitness room was great. Over all I did enjoy our stay especially by the main pool where the restaurant was
