"Although nearly 20 years old this hotel is still excellent and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Our room was excellent with only a couple of issues-toilet paper needs to be better, toilet seat needs to be self closing but overall very good. Bottom of interior door very scruffy. Breakfast was good but no fresh fruit available, I need a banana and an apple every day. The reception and public areas are very tasteful and of course the patio and views were magnificent! I would definitely visit again."

"Overall a lovely hotel. Food delicious and not over priced. Spa facilities very good. Room was large, well decorated, comfy bed. Some mold in the shower and a few areas could be cleaned better. Handles in lift loose, one came off in my hand. Would be in lovely surroundings if it wasn't overlooking the abandoned surfing lake which is an eye sore. Not much around the hotel, but Conwy and Llandudno are only a short drive away. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. And I would recommend this hotel for a short relaxing break away."

"Overall, a good place to stay overnight or a short break. Staff are friendly and helpful, and location is great for access to local amenities and attractions. Downsides: - Parking; a little tight - Breakfast menu; limited to just cereal, toast and full english (but that’s more of an us issue than the hotels!) - No shower mats, so a little hazardous - A lot of stairs, so not ideal for those with limited mobility, or in our case .. a 2 year old who insists on being carried everywhere - Limited menu for dinner, and not the best quality of food - Rooms are quite humid and stuffy in the summer"

"Not worth the money at all! Room and hallways were dirty, there was no toilet paper in our room, and lots of things were broken. Just felt really, really old and poorly maintained. Tiny room. Part of why we chose this was due to the breakfast photos on google, that look amazing. So disappointed! It was a buffet, but a really sad one. Poor choices, and didn't look nice. We skipped out as quickly as we could"

"Rooms clean friendly staff nearby shops and restaurants. Looks a little run down in areas and could do with a bit of maintenance. Used facilities and bar in adjacent hotel that was internally linked as the diner and bar in our side was shut. Lovely cooked breakfast reasonably priced . Don’t worry about the weird noises the lift makes when reaching top floor bounces a bit on arrival. Bath takes a while to fill hot water fine but cold a little low on pressure. Overall a pleasant stay."
