Top Aberdeenshire Hotel Reviews

Strathburn Hotel Inverurie by Compass Hospitality

8/10 Good

"Reception staff very nice and helpful, nothing to much bother . Room was well equipped regarding wardrobes and drawers . Nice and cosy . Unfortunately we were in a ground floor room and window did open but didn’t stay in position, improvised with the use of tying a scarf . Beds were comfortable, alas we usually strip beds in the morning on vacating room, , mattress cover badly stained , and next layer too , reluctant to go beyond this. Sheets , duvet etc lovely and clean so if we hadn’t stripped beds wouldn’t have known. Had we paid more for this room , and staff not been so nice and helpful would have complained . Well done gent on reception who also did breakfast in the morning, bewildered be an asset to any business . Overall the hotel met our requirements."
