"It was very exciting staying in a castle. We had the family room which was very quaintly laid out with a single bed in its own part of the small turret, through a stone arch. Place was so busy with Easter weekend and guests had nowhere to sit, tables dirty, queue for bag long, queue for food long, coffe at breakfast takes 30mins to arrive, didn’t clean our room, didn’t replace towels when asked, complained to manager and nothing done about it. Stay clear and stay at any of the gorgeous places in the Cotswolds "

"The room was very clean and comfortable. The grounds were very well maintained and there was a good atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. The stay was let down by the breakfast. The bacon was excellent, my sausage was pink in the middle so I only ate half, the mushrooms were tinned or something similar, the tomato wasn’t cooked and the potato things were frozen.
