"After staying in a “unique” or “historic” hotel in Toronto and it not being so nice, I was really hesitant and worried about my stay in Rochester at the lofts. The outside looked worrisome and the houses surrounding the school are not in great shape. But once inside, the room was absolutely incredible. So spacious and a full apartment perfect for a long term stay. Clean, organized, perfect for a stay. Would have been willing to stay longer just not on the itinerary"

"Expedia sold me a room that was not available at the hotel the pictures were deceiving and the room was more expensive compared to the room i was given. The hotel did not know what room my expedia reservation was for. Literally had no other option for my handicapped mother. The hotel did give me a room with 2 beds vs the room with 1 bed for a reservation for 3 people. The hotel suggested i contact Expedia and they would support a refund but without notice I didn't have any other last minute...

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for visiting the Strong Museum. Food at breakfast was good. Food at in house restaurant was good. Beds are very uncomfortable. Bathroom sink did not drain, but fixed quickly once brought to attention of management. Floor in room entrance and bathroom was very dirty upon checkin. "It was better than expected and offered great value for money. I was pleased with the front desk service, and the breakfast was extensive; the staff in charge of breakfast were fantastic, promptly replenishing any items that ran low. It was a pleasant stay"

"The staff were all very helpful and accommodating. This is a great hotel if you want close access to the university. It has a nice river view and the pantry with fair-priced snacks and laundry are nice amenities if you have children or are staying for several nights."
