"This place was pretty run down and not particularly clean. The exterior was especially dirty - the same cigarette butts and broken glass lying around the whole time (3 days) that we were there. Ice maker didn't work. Pool and hot tub did not look clean so we did not end up using them. The person attending the front desk, breakfast bar, etc. was very nice, knowledgeable and accommodating despite being responsible for what seemed like multiple jobs. She was the only employee we saw all weekend."

"This hotel is just being taken over by the Motel 6 group of hotels. And I just have to say that perhaps they should take the time from renting out rooms here till they do some serious remodeling of the rooms. As the carpets, furniture and fixings are so dilapidated and worn. The paint and the bathrooms are more like a truck stop on an old hwy road out in no man’s land. The water never got hot ever. This place they took over looks more like a crack house than a crack house. And all I could think about ia what may have been going on in these rooms prior to my stay all the many years before. It was awful and gross to say the least. They truly need to put some considerable money into this property. As it’s falling apart from the inside out. It’s nasty and disgusting. And yet with a great deal of money and time it has the potential to be truly something nice and good. But put some paint on and some new carpets and new lite fixtures and redo the showers and tubs and spray wash all outer surface area sidewalks, pools area, elevators, the likes. Fresh paint throughout this place inside and out. It’s ruff truly ruff and pitiful at this stage to date."

"The room was nice and really clean. I didn’t expect not to have service in my room however we were able to connect to the wifi. I guess now thinking about it was nice to disconnect. If you get the fireplace patio, I suggest to just have someone come and turn it on as you check in as it’s something to easily forget and once the front desk is closed, you can’t have someone turn on the fire pit. Bring bug spray for sure to enjoy sitting outside. Don’t forget your ID for the pool! the pool is part of the bar. The bar food was really good btw, the fish tacos were so good! & don’t forget to use your $15 dollar food credit daily! Otherwise you’ll miss out on your credit for the day. The ice cream at check in office is so good! Use your free ice cream voucher! They give you a parking pass which is cool. Overall I felt safe! neighborhood was decent. The rooftop bar was cute. A lot of cute photo spots. As picky as i am, i’d comeback, I really enjoyed myself overall. I loved the exclusivity of it, the vibes and ambiance was cool and modern. This was a spontaneous bday weekend getaway and I got lucky, turned out better than expected! the robe in the room was a plus! I’d get the room with the fire pit poolside patio again! it’s an open view shower btw! ( like your roommate would have to step outside to avoid seeing you naked lol) but if your with your hunny this is perfect! (;"
