"This is the ghost of a 4 star hotel. The sign of negligence and aging is everywhere. But I highly appreciate the staff for their friendliness and welcoming attitude. They are doing their best. But the owner/management should think about renovating the property. People are paying good money."

"The hotel needed some work on the outside. The inside had been refurbished for the upcoming Fifa games. The room was cozy and bright with the most comfortable bed my husband & I have ever slept in. The room was very clean, but modest. We also had a view of the Vancouver skyline from our 3rd floor window. "Clean, comfortable rooms but a little noisy at times in the evening given proximity to Vancouver airport. Front desk staff was very efficient and responsive but not overly friendly. Perhaps not a totally fair comparison given we'd just came from a long stay at a similar hotel in Tokyo. Also, apparently there's an unwritten rule at this hotel that if you leave your room after 11AM you may not have your room cleaned unless you call the front desk. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.
