"Beautiful property with large comfortable rooms and plenty of storage. Everyone who works there was friendly and helpful - whether at the front desk, pool, restaurants or spa, the service is terrific. There are several options for food and drink (restaurants, bars, poolside) with different menus at each, and the food and drink at all is very good."

"The views at Ella Alkyna are breathtaking, and the water is the clearest I have ever seen. The beach and boardwalk connecting the resort to town create an unforgettable experience. The natural beauty here is truly world-class and the main reason I would recommend visiting.
That said, there are several areas that need improvement. Although the resort is all-inclusive, we were only able to make two restaurant reservations during our five-night stay. Otherwise, we were limited to the main buffet,...

"To set expectations, this is not a 5 star hotel by today’s standards. I’m sure it was 5 star 15 years ago, but this is a dated property in desperate need of updating to live up to the 5* tag they claim. The beach had sewer smells, the gym was a token gesture to dated fitness equipment with no aircon.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a welcome surprise. Very wide range of food and good quality ingredients. The bedroom was clean and welcoming.
Would I stay for a week....
