"Property it’s beautiful but run down. Pool is dirty and low water level. Jacuzzi was not warm and smelled moldy. Towels are few and far between. Only one place to get them and they are so far from the other pools. Lots of walking so very inconvenient when you need something. No pool service at the other pools or bars. Food was gross and subpar. Some staff was so nice and helpful, other staff were rude and not helpful. Everything was very expensive if it’s wasn’t included. Bit easy to get...

"We just spent 7 nights at Royal Plantation. What a beautiful and special place.
The grounds are immaculately kept and there is a great sense of pride from all staff in making the resort feel more like a home away from home. Every single staff member we interacted with were so friendly and took time out of their day to stop and have a chat. We loved meeting all of them. We always felt so well taken care of. There was nothing that was ever too much trouble.

"If I could give negative stars for this property, I absolutely would. The host cancelled our reservation right before our trip and failed to properly update the system or communicate professionally. I only found out the booking was cancelled when I was trying to get check-in information before leaving for Jamaica.
The host messaged saying they cancelled for “personal reasons,” but after that completely stopped responding — not only to me, but also to Expedia when they repeatedly tried...
