"Booked one night. The kids loved the pool and slide. The hotel itself looked like it needed a bit of love in the main areas. Room was clean and as advertised. The restaurant on the main floor was excellent. The pizza was delicious! Would go back if we are in the area. A new section to the hotel was in the process of being built when we went. The parking was a bit complicated due to the construction site. No workers on site when we were there, but can imagine it would have been noisy if there...

"Before booking know exactly what you are getting into. No phone connection or internet. 90 minute drive in a van from parking up the mountain to the lodge. All meals are eaten collectively, which is great for meeting interesting people. But guests are 90 percent Québécois and enjoy socialising in French. This is a place to do 2 hikes per day. Lots if variety for expert to advanced intermediate hikers. Less for less advanced hikers. Food is excellent. Guides are wonderful "
