"The hotel room was clean, a little worn. Staff depended on who you got, a mixed bag, some were quite helpful, others were reluctant to help. I know English is not their preferred language, however if you’re at reception, I think it should be part of your job. "The hotel is currently going through comllete renovation but nothing is mentioned on Accor app. No proper lobby at ground floor, lobby on first floor with outdated dirty carpet in a darkened room. The bar and the restaurant are definately not as they are showcased in the photos. Finally, as there is no soundproofing in the room, impossible to sleep. Noise from the street, from the rooms next to ours or above and during the day noise from the construction team renovating. In summary, avoid this...

"The staff was very supportive and went overboard in helping. The hotel room walls were made of paper I think. I could hear the next door neighbour talking to each other and their phones ringing. There was no coffee in the room and the shower head will splash water everywhere in the shower except to my head. The shower head would become loose under water pressure and there was no way I could tighten it. Due to construction - entrance to hotel was walking thru mud and water."

"They use heavily scented detergent and shampoo so everything smelled too strongly of perfume. Had to keep the windows closed because kitty litter smell came I through the windows. It was too loud to get a good rest. Motorcycles and people talking outside the thin windows til 2 am. Dar al hajja or dar doura are much better quiet places to stay. The price was cheap and the staff was amazing but the location of this place was not ideal."
