"Riu it’s always a great time, it’s a party resort you don’t really come there for anything else lol food was edible. And we were able to go to the other hotel Riu Montego Bay, and eat lunch there and go to their parties. I only got to try the buffet and the snack bar. You had to have reservations for everything else which everything was booked the whole time we were there. The jerk chicken hut was good on the beach as well."

"The hotel staff is wonderful! They were very kind and always eager to help. The hotel property is in serious need of updating. My first room was in desperate need of repair, the curtains were dirty on the bottom, the shower was moldy and the fridge was hot. I was then transferred to another room over 24 hours later. That room was better but still not clean, floor had footprints and there was still the mildew smell. The fridge was warm in that room also. "

"We stayed in a basic two bed room. Our first room we found roaches and we were given the opportunity to move rooms. After moving rooms we noticed a mildew smell, another roach and the bedding had stains on it. "This was our first time in Negril and first time staying at an RIU property. Overall, it was a great hotel however they charge you $5 if you lose a room key. We were traveling with a group of 32 family members and the food at the restaurants were not the best. However, the buffet for breakfast and dinner were not bad. The property is well maintained and the rooms were always clean."
