"The hotel is quite old, but it was clean overall. However, the carpets in the room showed their age, and the bed sheets had stains from excessive wear. Unfortunately, they only provided a thick comforter as a bed cover, which might be great for winter, but it's really uncomfortable during the summer months. On the bright side, the room had a functioning AC and plenty of space.
My main issue was with the breakfast, which left much to be desired. Firstly, it was an à la carte menu rather than a...

"This was probably my favorite hotel of all the ones we stayed during our tour of Ireland. It was once a hospital and has a lot of neat history. It is located in the Shandon area, very near some beautiful Cathedrals. It is a bit of walk to the actual shopping, but would definitely stay here again. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We stayed in a family room, and it was perfect! King bed in the center, twin beds on each side!"

"Super clean and aesthetically pleasing hotel! Everything is beautiful and carefully thought out. The room itself is a tad bit small but still works! The AC didn’t go below 18c and barely would blow during the heatwave Ireland was having and the drain in the shower wouldn’t drain so you stood in water. Other than that I would still recommend this hotel!"

"Beautiful, classic hotel! The location was perfect, within 2 blocks from your pick ups for tours outside the city. Good breakfast each morning and room attended to daily! Highly recommended!😊"

"A convenient location just outside the town centre. The breakfast was chef’s kiss — delicious. We found the bar a bit pricier, so having the in‑room mini fridge was handy. The rooms were nicely updated and the bathrooms were beautifully renovated. Overall, a great stay!"
