"We heard great reviews for this hotel from friends in Manado, so we booked a room for our stay. Iโ€™m giving five stars because I believe my friends. However, a volcano meant that our flight turned around 30 minutes before we were supposed to land in Manado. We couldnโ€™t use our reservation. I wrote to Expedia and the hotel to cancel the reservation. Expedia said they couldnโ€™t refund the money because they needed to first receive the consent of the hotel and the hotel didnโ€™t respond the hotel...
