"Lovely location with great views over lakes the room was comfortable and roomy and there was a good outdoor enclosed dog area. The receptionist and restaurant staff were lovely and helpful. The only problems were 1. that the room we got was not the one we thought we’d booked. The photos on Expedia definitely showed a balcony on the ground floor which with elderly parents and a dog was why we chose it. (I I suspect this is more an issue with how Expeda show their accommodation ) and 2. Despite...

"Craig and Tommy were excellent welcoming hosts and they couldn’t do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We loved the quirkiness, laid back feel, and atmosphere of the Ryebeck.
The food was very good and we wish to pass on our compliments to the chef.
The hotel’s location and its views across the Windermere are wonderful.
We will certainly look to stay again.
