"Very pricey given what you get is a motel-like suite. The Murphy bed was broken and wouldn’t stay latched but didn’t end up becoming an issue. The WiFi basically never worked our entire stay. In fact, even their restaurant (one of the only places open in the evening) didn’t have internet and only accepted cash. Garden view was nice but the doors opened inwards, which would’ve meant moving all the furniture to go outside, so the patio ended up being useless."

"Canalta Lodge was a lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is very good - about a 15 minute walk to the start of shops in Banff. The walk to the shops passes you by many restaurants as well. They have a sauna, hot tub, cold plunge pool, and a small cafe on site. In addition, they were doing free s'mores during happy hour each night. Finally - the room was great, and I enjoyed the view of the mountains while sitting out on the small balcony."
