"La Carolina is a modern brand name hotel with great views of Quito. The room was spotless and featured wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Parque La Carolina. About a 10-minute walk from the upscale shopping/dining area near Avenida Naciones Unidas or Iñaquito subway station. Breakfast is sumptuous. If you need a taxi from the hotel, ask for Jhon. He's extremely safe and loves to practice his English and is willing to help you practice your Spanish. "

"The hotel was extremely beautiful, well kept, nicely decorated and the staff including the 24hr security at the door were kind and friendly. Our room was located on the 7th floor. Robinson, one of the front desk personnel was helpful with our check in and our check out. One of my only gripes is an alarm from either a car or a commercial property that went off multiple times every single night. It did not keep us awake, but it was a bit of a nuisance to hear it so often each night. "

"I only stayed there to sleep on my last night in Ecuador before getting on a plane very early the next morning. They were very hospitable, and the shuttle was there for me when I woke up. They even gave me a little knock on my hotel door (a minute before I was about to leave) to make sure I came downstairs to the taxi. Room was clean. Wifi worked. Can't comment on outside of building because I arrived and left in the dark."

"All the staff were exceptional. Breakfast was limited but okay. I requested a room with a view, but didn’t realize it was 6 floors up—with no elevator! Do I asked for a lower-level room and got one on the third floor. The next night I moved to a lower floor, however, it was very noisy. Good thing I had my ear plugs. The location is fantastic!"

"This hotel is a feast for the eyes! Exquisite design, decor, garden, and flowers everywhere. Spacious, comfortable, sleeping, a free shuttle to and from the airport and a gorgeous buffet breakfast and the option to purchase a delicious dinner in the hotel in the evening Made this a wonderful place to stay! Roosters and dogs in the surrounding area nearby will create an early morning wake up for more sensitive sleepers, but the hotel itself… There are no words to say how pleased we all were!...
