"The Great Western Hotel is now returning to "great"in every way. Really enjoyed my recent stay. You will not find a better location than this centre piece of Oban bay. Good choice of food and drink served in a nice friendly atmosphere. The staff are also a real asset of this hotel and it is plain to see that the ownership and management are now determined to continuously improve and look after this great hotel. I look forward to returning to The Great Western Hotel as soon as I can."

"The room was immaculately clean. As a female I was given the room with a toilet which was appreciated. There was cereal in the room and a fridge with drinks and yoghurt so it was well thought out. The room was very good value. My only thought is that the entrance into the front garden could have been better. "The room was better than we expected for the price. Very comfortable bed, nice bathroom and shower and amazing view from the window. The only slight negatives were that the room wasn't as warm as we would have liked (the radiator didn't get very hot and the heat wasn't uniform across the radiator so possibly needing bled?) and the carpet could have been vacuumed more thoroughly. But we had a great, though short, stay and would definitely recommend Dalrigh House to others."
