"Saw a roach in our room. Mattress was pretty bad—probably picked it up at the Salvation Army. They tacked on a $50 service fee without telling us. Plus tax on the $50. "We stayed here for 2 nights before our cruise. It was honestly perfect for our needs. We arrived in the middle of the night and were still greeted with a smile. The room was not huge, but perfect for a family of 3 for a couple of nights. It was clean, comfortable and air conditioned. The bathroom was small but adequate. The pool area was great and my daughter enjoyed it. There was also a really nice terrace area upstairs. The hotel had a little “shop” and free coffee (a huge win for me!)....
