"This is a property with a breathtaking view of the Ooty huills and valleys. The cottages are good although they now require a fresh coat of paint inside. Food is decent and the breakfast spread is very good and so is the dinner buffet. Hotel staff are helpful and response to the calls is quick. Hot water timings are restricted in the mornings and evenings but that's not too much of an issue. The hotel helped us with a immersion rod beyond the normal timings so that was very helpful. "I had booked this room for my father .
When they reqched the hotel, the caretaker told him that no payment or booking had been received.
After my dad showed the reciept and payment, the manager turned up about half an hour later .
They told my father that a room wasn't available and asked my father for a 1000 Rs deposit for another room.
My dad refused to pay any further sum, and informed them that if they did not arrange another room or refund the paid amount he would apporach the police .
