For example at the checkin we asked for an iron and when we went to our room, the iron was there already. The staff during the breakfast was also very nice. The food was good. It is a good location. September 2016 Schiestlhaus, Hochschwab, Styria, Austria Morning view south from Hochschwab summit (alt. 2.227 meters) in the middle of Hochschwab mountain range. It is the most northern part of Alps which rises over 2.000 meters of altitude. There are basically no lifts in the Hochschwab, so you can enjoy it in its natural state. In September the weather is quite stable (although quite windy and freezing in the morning in the top parts) and only few tourists which get such rewarding views for the pain of hiking it by own feet. There is nice mountain hut called Schiestlhaus only 70 alt. meters below the Hochschwab summit, so you can get to the top both for the sunset or sunrise.
