"The breakfast menu is great. However I had to ask for the plate of boiled eggs not to be left in the sun! Everything else was perfect. The pool and location are great. The venue is just a short walk to the day and night market. The Mekong is nearby too and the ‘Coffee Club’ cafe"

"The hotel itself is ckean and the staff are friendly and informative. We had booked a double and got two single beds (although this seems to be the norm in Laos from my experience). The toilet seemed to be blocked along the line a bit (I suspect soneone throw toilet paper down) so a few times we had to find a plunger. Aircon struggled in the heat, but the room had strong ceiling fans. I also like the seperate shower and toilet. I'm not sure the pools PH leveks are checked, as after a short swim...

"Easy check-in eventhough we arrived very late. Very cozy, clean and small boutique hotel with 9 rooms. Location is not central its 20 min walk to main street and attractions but they have bike free to use"

"The morning market is steps outside the hotel which was a sight to see and experience. Location is perfect and close to everything in Luang Prabang. The hotel met our needs and was quaint. Hotel staff was friend and very accommodating!"

"Wonderful stay during Lao New Year celebrations! Very walkable, nice air-conditioned rooms, very clean property, nice breakfast. Only downside is that it’s right next to a bar so music plays quite loudly until about 11 pm, but honestly not a huge deal for the quality of the property. Highly recommend "

"Baan Pila is owned by two French women. One of the owners is a partner in a restaurant we recommend called Bouang. They are located walking distance to the night market. We enjoyed the mango room. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. We enjoyed using the free bikes available to explore the town. "

"3min away from the night food market, yet in a quiet little alley. Perfect location for all sights as well as the morning procession. Clean and in good condition. Breakfast could be improved with bread instead of tasteless toast, but generally a good selection."

"The hotel is newly opened and in Grand condition. It has been renovated and added on to the UNESCO standards for that Historical District. The entire staff are wonderful, from the cleaners to the GM. They are also so helpful and personable!"
