"We have stayed here a couple of times now and love it here. Rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean with some of my favourite toiletries in the bathroom and Tunnock biscuits for a snack. Breakfast is hot and tasty with cereals and a varied choice for breakfast from a full Scottish fry up to pastries, French toast and porridge to name a few. "We arrived walking off the West Highland Way: soaked to the bone and exhausted. There was a big loud tour bus offloading at the same time, and the young woman at the front desk was so considerate and gracious — without asking, she guided us off to the side and checked us in ahead of the group. Panoramic view from the top of Ben Arthur, a.k.a. The Cobbler, during my last adventure in Scotland. This is a fairly easy walk (11 miles, 4-6 hours) in the southern Highlands near Loch Lomond. A good warm-up before a failed attempt at Ben Nevis the following day. Pictures to come later.
