"This hostel is located in the middle of the city of La Fortuna and is in a fair distance to most of the attractions and excursions. the managers and all who work at the facility are welcoming and super friendly. get ready for a super fun dance night and happy hour offered by the facility team. in addition, they can schedule tours for you for a cheaper rate. we had an excellent stay!"

"Nepenthe is a gem. You need to grab this stay for as long as it stays a gem, the owners are getting older and are actively trying to sell. Make this trip, you will not regret it. Stay for the week, there is plenty to do around Arenal, do not spend hours driving that you could spend listening to the howler monkeys, watching the toucans every morning, or enjoying the oropendola living their day. "

"Private, Bungalow type setting. The room was well equipped, with internet, air conditioning, plenty of excellent coffee on hand. Morning times were what my wife and I really enjoyed. A fantastic breakfast complete with plenty of excellent chilled, fresh fruit, and excellent company with the owner and his family. "WOW! We are staying 4 nights and so lucky to have chosen this hotel. The setting is fantastic, lovely and so relaxing especially the gardens, river, pond with ducks and the refreshing covered outdoor pool. Staff Marinela & Elena are very kind, helpful and efficient. Our room is spacious but minimal storage space. Lots of free parking and safe. Delicious outdoor breakfast by Karina and Cristina. A short drive to the town center. Highly recommended!"

"This is a unique property, with direct access to a river running along the property which is accessible to swim in, the views from the cabins are spectacular with mountain and natural jungle views with amazing bird and plants/flowers. Had howling monkeys directly in front of my cabin. Can't recommend this property enough, just awesome "
