"The Lavana hotel was in a great location. Near central market and in the heart of Chinatown. The hotel was a little dated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Reasonable value for money. The area was one of the homeless hotspots at night. They were not a problem and kept themselves to themselves. Nice people going through hard times. I would consider staying again. "

Their credit card processing machine wasn't working, it was very old technology. I tried 4 different cards but none worked. After checkout they refused to return my passport, because they were trying to scam me to pay cash for incidentals which never occurred.
