"Nice hotel really close to the beach, but our room had a balcony that faced the pool and parking lot and beyond the parking lot fence homeless people. Not a great view and thus didn't motivate us to use the balcony. The bed was very comfortable but our room was the first room in a hallway with a security door, and so we heard everyone coming and going through the door. Couldn't get the tv to work but had many other activities so ended up not asking front desk what was wrong. Bathroom has a...

"Location is great, couple blocks back from the beach and some excellent restaurants on State street. It’s smaller which is nice with all open halls to capitalize on the great weather. Really great layout with the second floor courtyard offering shaded seating. Great trip with a great base camp at La Playa. "

"Very good value for a stay in Solvang. Well maintained older property in center of town. Great off street parking is a plus in Solvang. You can leave your car there and wander around the whole downtown. "

"Everything about the hotel itself was excellent: staff, cleanliness, value, convenience, free newspaper, breakfast pastries, WiFi, filtered water system. But it’s sad to see the old restaurant and special conference building established in 1924 out of business and dilapidated. Overall, however, my stay at Pea Soups was excellent. I always choose this particular hotel when I’m in the area. Thank you!"

"Didn’t like being awakened one night at 2:30 am by some loud “furnace” noise within the building. TV “froze” one morning. Think the charge increase dramatically each day was exorbitant!"

"We appreciate the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The property is neat and maintained. We were not able to use the pool but would love to try it another time. The restaurant/bar on property was welcoming and we look forward to breakfast in the morning. This is definitely a place to try again. We recommend highly "

"Good value for money. Easy checkin, friendly stuff clean and comfortable. There are some homeless all across the neighborhood, but that seems to be a problem around the city of Lompoc. The hotel has camera all around. "

"The room was a little small but comfortable. It was clean and well maintained for an older building. The swimming pool area was very nice. We enjoyed sitting out there while having wine, crackers, and cheese. It was very nice to have complementary continental breakfast from the hotel staff.The Price was great and we would definitely stay there again. The location was perfect, it was easy access to all the shops and restaurants. And many restaurants for winetasting. Thank you. "
