I highly recommend Hotel Nazionale. It is absolutely beautiful inside and very clean, the staff is kind and goes above and beyond for your needs (especially Roberta and Patrick). Free breakfast and a bar for drinks at night. It’s also next to a beautiful government building with a constant police presence (so there were no people loitering or selling things outside the hotel) so we felt extremely safe. It’s also the perfect location in the heart of Rome!! It really doesn’t get much better than that and we are soooo glad that we chose to stay here.

Loved the location of the hotel, down a quiet alleyway.
The staff was extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions, calling for car service, etc.

Everything was perfect except they need to do something about the doors to the rooms slamming shut very loudly. That is all you here in the morning and at night . Otherwise perfect hotel.
