Amazing hotel! So beautiful, clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It’s a great location, made it easy to get to the most popular spots. The cinema was really cool

Great location room was a little dark . We had to wait till at least 3 pm to check in. Housekeeping wasn't consistent. No one came to clean our room one of the days. We were in a family room and roll away bed was very uncomfortable. Breakfast was good.

Beautiful room, great quiet neighborhood that's very convenient and close to city center. Staff was INCREDIBLY helpful and friendly. Lots of stairs, so do not recommend this for people who have mobility issues. No elevator. Blackwoods restaurant has a limited menu so we didn't eat there.

I booked an extra week or so here because I just loved Edinburgh. This hotel is honestly so great. The staff are spectacularly helpful, the complimentary snacks and drinks are plentiful and very convenient, the complimentary drinks at the bar during the social hour are fun (though I missed most of these because I was usually out at that hour, but still, it’s fun if you’re in the hotel, and it’s a good time to have a couple drinks before dinner), the fact that housekeeping is available 24/7 is beyond amazing. I will absolutely be back to stay here again when in Edinburgh next, which I hope can be soon!

Great location and beautiful hotel. We were told this was one of the top 3 hotels in Edinburgh and it didn’t disappoint. Staff was outstanding. You could tell they care for their guests.
