"The property was easy to find. We were met at the door and were made to feel very welcome. Our hosts discussed the accommodation itself followed by a welcoming brew and a chat regarding the local area, places to eat and our breakfast order for the morning. We were recommended a lovely Italian restaurant in nearby St Boswells which was really nice. The views from our room were beautiful and really peaceful. "Breakfast was top notch, well cooked, well presented and plentiful. Could not fault it. The room (7) was well presented, clean, tidy and comfortable. On the down side it was extremely hot and a blocked overflow drain kept us awake most of our first night. However, there was no issues and once we had pointed out that the overflow was a problem we were promptly oved to another room. The heating in the initial room was stifling but it should be noted that we visited in January and the outside...

You are in the centre of the village. Easy access to other areas of the Scottish Borders. Evening tends to close early so make sure you bring a good book. "
