Excellent location. Elegant décor. Nice staff, especially doormen. Didn’t get a chance to see the room we originally chose—“Superior King”— because we were told we were being upgraded. The first-floor upgrade had a king bed, a settee and two chairs, a chandelier, and a number of nice amenities. Unfortunately, the only window was covered on the outside by an ivy trellis that attempted to shield the view of a large structure of cables and the adjacent tall brick building. We could barely get a glimpse of the sky. Access to the small bathroom was via one tall-but-narrow step up, that could be deemed unsafe and difficult for some, but did have a solid railing to assist the short climb.

The room was comfortable, clean and very quiet. Staff were helpful with any questions I had. The location of the hotel was great for the London Eye and the parliament buildings. It was only about a 12 minute walk to the Bakerloo Line which opens up the city to explore. Nearby Archbishops Park was a nice place to sit and relax. I would stay here again.

Only downside is the strong rumble and vibrations every 2 min or so from the numerous Underground tunnels.
