"This place is currently getting fixed and updated and needs a ton of work but we loved it. The views are amazing, amenities were great, food great, staff was awesome. Will definitely stay again!"

"Fabulous unexpected treasure of a hotel. We stayed in the main hotel which was perfect for us as it was close to bar and restaurant. There were shuttles to take you to the beach or it was just a short downhill walk. Good in the restaurants was excellent and the complimentary breakfast was delicious "

"Simple hotel, not fancy, even though it is in need of repair it was perfect for my family of 11. We reserved 4 rooms. Very clean, nice and comfortable beds. Very affordable, the beach was perfect, and the ferry was very reliable."

"The breakfast spot on the first floor, Caroline's was amazing... and the coffee spot. VI Coffee Roasters on the corner of the building was really exceptionally good! Had a great stay at the King Christian in large part due to their renovations and upgrades and also just the GREAT staff! Looking forward to our next visit."

"Every single person on the staff was helpful and welcoming. This recently-renovated property is right on the ocean. Even though we visited past peak season (so it wasn't busy) we were treated so well by the staff. Food and drinks were top-notch. They have Japanese food on the weekend, and really good sanwiches, pizza, etc. in the bar. I will miss the cool, spacious room and the view from the balcony.
