"Extremely disappointing experience. We booked two rooms, and both were unacceptable. Upon arrival, we learned there was no air conditioning. The rooms were extremely hot, and we were offered an open window or a portable unit as a solution.
The condition of the rooms was also very poor, including stained carpets, dirty floors, and even a spider on the door. We reported the issues to the property, but no alternative rooms were offered.
The conditions were bad enough that both of us checked out...
"This hotel is located about 10 minutes away from Old Town Zurich. We took an uber to get here from Zurich HB. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite facing the pool. The pool was having a huge promoted white party, so the bass and DJ were vibrating the room. However, the music was done at 8pm and we didn't hear anything else after that. The king bed was very comfortable. My son used the couch pull out, which we had to call down 2 times for them to bring up bedding because there was no bedding...
"Spacious room with comfortable bed. Kettle provided and water in the fridge. Walk from Zurich HB was approximately 25 minutes, on the flat. Plenty of buses and trams close by but we preferred to walk.
Would stay again and highly recommend."
