Comfortable and affordably priced

The hotel was run down, and definitely not 4* hotel. For the price of S$35 per night, it is good value for $, if you do not expect too many frills. The room was very basic, but clean. Beds were hard but comfortable, no creepy crawling over the three nights. Location is very central and accessible with drinks, food and convenience stores at the entrance. Breakfasts for two were included, and there were eggs and fruits for breakfasts. There is fridge , TV and centralised air-cons, but no safe. Wifi is free but you can’t do anything with it as it’s too weak. As most visitors are there for the tours, I feel that this hotel is adequate and gives value for money.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities
There was nothing to like. It’s not a hotel, but a residential compound. Owners are clueless what to offer in renting out their property. Filthy bathrooms and kitchens, no basic things like towels, toilet rolls, cups, dishes/plates and cutlery. Beds were very poor and beddings were marked and torn.
