Port Inn and Suites Portsmouth, an Ascend Collection Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Can't say enough positive things about Port Inn and Suites. This is not a luxurious place; however, it was quite clean. The towels were nice and white, and the bed was quite comfortable. It is also convenient to downtown and the hospital. The staff was also very nice and courteous. I would definitely stay there again. "
"We honeymooned at Lamies and know return for our 53rd anniversary. The Inn is outstanding. The pub is so much fun, staff are over the top and drinks and food are the very best. Lamies is perfect!"
"The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance including a grocery store. I've already booked a second stay. "
"We had a pleasant stay at Garner Hotel Londonderry - Manchester by IHG. The hotel staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful from arrival and check-in through the rest of our stay. While it’s clear the property is older, it is well maintained. The rooms are very basic and amenities are minimal, but everything was clean and comfortable. Overall, the hotel felt welcoming, and we would stay here again."
Residence Inn by Marriott Portsmouth Downtown/ Waterfront
10/10 Excellent
"The breakfast had all kinds of goodies. Oatmeal, with several toppings to choose from. The hot menu seems to change from day to day. We were there for a week, had eggs & bacon one day, then sausage patties and links the next. They surprised me on day 4 by having spinach quiche! Cereals, juice, breads, ect. also available. Coffee, tea, & hot cocoa 24/7. Our suite had everything we needed. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and eat. Bathroom has FULL SIZE shampoo, conditioner, and body wash! Heated indoor pool! Oh, and what really made us book here: Dog friendly!!
I really have no complaints about our stay BUT the parking situation. $45/day valet, meters, or parking garage? Booo! But I'll still stay here again!"
