Room was spacious and clean. Staff was nice and helpful. The only negative I can think of is that there’s a paid parking even for the guests. Overall excellent experience would recommend to anyone traveling to Zakopane
My Favorite Hotel in Poland, Lovely, spacious rooms, well maintained and an extremely helpful staff that routinely goes above and beyond. Great location in Zakopane
Hotel staff was very helpful and kind all time. Allowed me a store bag so I could hike after my checkout. Really made the experience great. Loved the hot tub with a Mountain View very relaxing.
Not worth staying here - much better options around Zakopane.
Rude staff
No coffee machine supplied in room (despite having Nespresso coffee pods) which were in the room. Asked at reception and they advised they knew about it and aren’t replacing it and couldn’t source another one. Nespresso pods also had 2/4 in the case so this is a known problem. Not offered any alternative or different other than a Nescafé sachet.
Guy at check out also unfriendly.
No privacy on balcony as the divider is clear see-through so you will be sitting with the room next to you.
Room was ok bed wasn’t the most comfortable nor the chair in the room.
Good location
Clean
Most certainly not a 5 star hotel and 3 at very best and won’t stay again.
🙂
Nice hotel.
Good service and great food.
Beautiful room.
Great location in Zakopane.
🙁
Paid expensive parking.
Cold room, noisy AC only source of heat.
Very small wellness area.
Zakopane is a huge tourist area now and hotels are tucked into every corner. Hotel Rysy is an amazing art deco decorated hotel on a very tiny side street. But easy walking to the main action. Pricy but tasty breakfast. Great room. Parking is a challenge and on-site parking was approximately $20 US per day. Enjoyed our stay.
Breakfast buffet was wonderful and catered really well for Gluten Free with gluten-free bread every morning! Professional staff who went above and beyond.
Noise from ongoing building works next door unfortunately kept us awake early in the morning.
Would happily stay again otherwise as no other complaint.
Welcoming staff and lovely large room. However not many places to really sit in the lobby that were cosy and not at a breakfast table. The pillows were very very uncomfortable and the room was extremely hot. We had both windows open all night in December even though heating was off room still stayed at 25 degree Celsius.
Stayed 5 nights in Dec 2023

black mold in the bathroom over the shower? As a five star hotel this is very dissapointing. We could hear those in other rooms talk at some points. Also no window that could be opened, which should be clearly communicated in the room description. It has a jacuzzi and the rooms look nice, with good service. Forgot to take a photo of the mold spots, but it was probably 2 big spots of about 10-20 cm… disgusting. Did not dare to go close and check the spot, but we are 80% certain it was some type of mold.
What an excellent place to stay.
In a very quiet street and just a 5 minute walk from main market.
Staff was very helpful. We are definitely returning here...
Loved the room and the view from the balcony. All the staff were warm and welcoming to my wife and myself. We didn’t eat there since we both have had stomach surgery for weight loss, so spending 150zl per person for the little we would eat was not economical for us. Bed was comfortable with heated floors in the bathroom. We will be returning in the next couple of years and would definitely stay there again. Only a short walk to the old downtown and what it has to offer. Would highly recommend.
