Atelier Playa Mujeres - Adults Only - All Inclusive

8/10 Good

"This was our first time in Mexico and at an all inclusive. The property was very well maintained and beautiful. Room had everything we needed and more. Very clean and the housekeeping kept the room impeccable. It felt 100% safe with two large gates protecting the property. The staff was kind, attentive, and very helpful. The “relax pool” was the best, not crowded and very quiet. The beach had a small amount of sargassum. We did have trouble getting lounge chairs at the beach because all were taken (non-inspira). The distance of beach from resort was no problem for us, but the August heat in Cancun, with warm ocean water and warm pool water, made it hard to cool down. Probably the most disappointing aspect was that a few restaurants were closed for dinner during our stay. I wanted to have Mercado 19, as it’s the only restaurant offering Mexican food, but it was closed for the duration of our stay. We ate at the Italian restaurant, Los Abrazos, and Takashi but the best food we tasted was off the taco cart which was only set up in the evening during when we would be eating dinner. Overall a wonderful relaxing stay. I would recommend but we would probably opt to go during Nov-April as the heat was unbearable."

"Rooms are very spacious. Mostly stone and granite. No nasty carpet. We really liked the large shower. The room was well stocked with drinks and snacks. The activity team was very good. They are friendly and energetic. There are so many activities to enjoy. Note there is a lot of the sargassum seaweed which prevented turquoise waters but much of the Yucatán peninsula has this issue. Beach still usable. Bring nice clothes for dinner as a dress code applies. We enjoyed the Asian, Indian, Spanish and French restaurants. Food is very good but not amazing. Some dishes were awesome. Loved the coffee shop by concierge."

Hotel Riu Palace Las Americas - Adults Only- All Inclusive

"My husband and I have now been here twice and love it! The property is close to the night life, if you feel like venturing outside of the resort. We loved the buffet for food options. If you want to explore Isla Mujeres, there’s a ferry dock nearby, within a 10-12 minute beach walk. The staff have been friendly and welcoming with every encounter we had. Will definitely be back!"

"Primero para hacer check in solo tenian dos personas para hacer el check in de varios huéspedes que habian llegado al momento que nosotros. El check in fue lento por eso duramos alrededor de 30 min esperando mas los minutos que tenian que durar con nosotros para hacer el check in. Senti que dure casi una hora en eso. Luego de eso nos habían dicho que las maletas iban a estar en la habitación para cuando estuviéramos ahi. Cuando llegamos no estaban, llamamos a recepción y dijimos que no estaban se pusieron a investigar y la habian dejado en otra habitación. Pero cabe destacar que fueron bien atentos y se agilizaron rapido para encontrarlas. Aparte de todos estos imprevistos que nos pasaron esta es mi segunda vez que vuelvo al hotel y siento que el hotel no es igual que antes, me refiero a que quitaron cosas que antes tal vez para mi era un plus para poner otras cosas. Me encantan el staff siempre bien amables y atentos. A mi esposo y a mi no nos gusto que hay que caminar muchisimo sentimos que todo quedaba lejos (entiendo la parte de ampliar y crecer) pero deberian de poner carritos de golf para llevar a los huéspedes de un lado al otro o encontrar otra manera. El buffet principal de la nueva fase sentimos que siempre era lo mismo. En el mercado la merced habia mas variedad de comida. En fin nos encantó el hotel pero para mi esposo y para mi ya no es igual. Hubieron cosas que pregunte que había disfrutado la 1era vez y que ya no tienen."

Hotel Riu Ventura - All Inclusive

"Stayed in the Riu ventura for one week with family (kids and a 10month baby) hotel is clean, new, well maintened, staff are helpful, we got the family size room, spacious one with 3 queens beds and with a sapereate restroom, but the view was only partial view. Food in the buffet is good, way better than restaurants. Good entertainement at the pool for adults and kids, also a clean gym available and shows every night. Overall the vacation was good. And the best thing is that you have access to Riu caribe which is 20 min taxi and you can spend the day there with same all inclusive access."
