"Great value for money. 3 rooms on 2nd floor and 1st floor is common area with toliet, shower, kitchen, refrigerator.
Traditional Japanese style room. Room is simple with matress, small ground table, A/C. Not much soundproof.
No elevator & need to use stiff stairs. Host seems living in 1st floor. Use key to open/close room.
Place is located on the side of small car road, not inside. Search '清舎' on google map."

"I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience about this stay. The property is located in an incredibly remote area with absolutely no stores or restaurants nearby. Be aware that the on-site pizza restaurant is closed several days a week, and when it is, you cannot even use the terrace. There are no walking trails around the area, and the owner offered zero recommendations for things to do or places to eat.

"Amazing room, especially for the price, even as a solo traveller. Would definitely recommend (and have done to friends and family already). Great location, can see the deer from the window. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Basically an apartment, with a hob to cook on, a washing machine, just amazing. I can praise highly enough. Wish I could have stayed longer, and will definitely return if I ever go to Japan again."

"Property was close to Kintetsu-Nara station in a lively area surrounded by plenty of food and grocery stores, so it is a convenient. "I was such a beautiful place to stay! There was plenty of room, and plenty of pillows - rare in Japan! The decoration was very tasteful and welcoming. Staircase was a little narrow, but this is common in Japan and not a fault of the owner. There was only one toilet, which worked fine for our family of 4.
