The rooms are really small but very well appointed. The amenities provided puts many hotels (even high end ones) outside of Japan to shame. Love the convenient location as well. We drove, so the hotel carpark is huge plus.

A great location for JR line, Blue Line and the staff is always accommodating. Perfect for a place if you are looking for budget, sleep and shower. Many eateries within walking distant. Close enough to Chinatown Minato Mirai and Yokohama station.

Horrible and terrible as are in all Appa Hotels in Japan. Very small rooms. Too expesive.. staff not kind and not friendly..
Harass people to check out hotel even before 30 minutes to live and wanted to paid over fees...They are very rude people...

Thank you for staying at APA Hotel Yokohama Kannai. I'm sorry that you couldn't spend a comfortable time with me. All rooms are 9 square meters in size. Although it has a compact structure, it is designed to be comfortable on the bed. Check-out time is usually 10am. You can extend your stay up to 2:00 pm by paying 1,000 yen per hour.Accommodation fees vary depending on the date, so it will be more expensive on days when demand is high. Thank you for your review. There were a several semi-prostitutes standing around the area. The area is very busy daytime but as evening brings darkness with only few dim street lights and only handful stores are open I felt unsafe being a woman from out of town. Don’t stay if you plan to go out at night.
The double bed(?) room we were provided was possibly the tiniest room we’ve ever stayed. If you are even slightly overweight the room may be unbearable for you.
