Easy to find, plenty of space for parking with big gaps between the cars (unlike most hotels!),
Bistro till 2.30, Indian Restaurant from 5.30 so easy eating. Excellent breakfast, although we only tried the cooked breakfast.
Our room was large enough and had plenty of space for storage, plenty of electrical sockets, opening windows and blackout curtains. The room was bright but some of the furniture was a bit worn. The room and bathroom were spotless, if a bit dated.
The only let down, and it only applied on our first night, was that the heating is on a timer and only comes on at a certain time - if you are cold before then its not available???
We stayed 3 nights, ate at the excellent Indian Restaurant and also enjoyed sitting out at the picnic benches in the rear, watching the sun go down.
As a stopover or a place to stay a while and visit the Fleet Air Arm Museum (1 mile), the Haynes Motor Museum (3 miles) or even the East Somerset Railway 18 miles away, its ideal
