"We were in room 3 which was huge, it comprised of a small sitting room, bathroom and large bedroom. Bed was very comfortable, room spotless, tv in both sitting room and bedroom. Small fridge in the sitting room with milk and chilled water which was very welcome as it was extremely hot. Breakfast was lovely, good portions, and all the staff were fantastic. "The room was very dainted could do with a reverb in the bedrooms stayed on the hottest weekend in June and all we had was a old small fan in the room Bathroom could do with a very deep clean. Pub itself was nice. Stuff behind the bar were very friendly. Landlord was grumpy and chose to see it with both their big air-condition fans facing himself."

"Check in is 5.30 thought I would arrive earlier and have a few drinks and something to eat only to find the place locked up. Nowhere in the village open so ended up driving to Yeovil "

"I was very happy with my stay. I just feel they need to put a stronger fan in the room, as the rooms are upstairs and has a skylight window, which can't be opened and so the room gets extremely hot in there. The fan they have is not strong enough to keep the room cool, especially on extremely hot days. Otherwise the staff were excellent and the food is simply amazing."

"Vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Prima voor een overnachting. Tijdens ons verblijf zijn de matrassen vernieuwd. Dat wat wel nodig. De keuken was niet open zodat we naar een ander restaurant moesten uitwijken. Het groene licht was s’nachts irritant. Ontbijt was eenvoudig en goed."

"Absolutely fabulous stay - the staff were all amazing, the food for dinner and breakfast great, the beer garden was the most beautifully manicured beer garden i have ever been to. Bed and pillows also very comfortable. The photos dont do this place justice - its a proper gem :)"

"The pub itself and the breakfast were great but the room i had smelled damp and needed some love! The bed was very old with person shape dents in the mattress The owner came out immediately to fix a light but as he couldn't reassure me that the other rooms were any better I left after one night of no sleep."
