"We had a wonderful stay at blue buffalo, we were able to upgrade from the dry small cabin, to a larger one upon check-in. Parking was easy, it was a little hard to spot off the highway so I’d suggest a little more lighting at the entrance, and I found breakfast options very limited (waffles, toast, muffins, coffee, juice) but overall we have zero complaints! Our cabin was beautiful and spotless and we rented bear spray for $5 to hike through YSNP. We’d absolutely stay again!!"

"Very prompt service. Pool is big enough. Daily room service. Breakfast is very good, and even though the busy menu always gets refilled. The front desk is always helpful. Best hotel on the West side of Yellowstone."

"The inn was built in 1903 and opened in 1904. It is absolutely incredible to see what they built at the time. The wood structure is beautiful and it really is a treat to stay there and be able to walk over to Old faithful and all the other geysers and springs. It was a treat to stay one night. I wouldn't stay more than a night but it's great to stay because after 5pm it clears out and at 6am hiking along the trails to see the pools and geysers and seeing a sunset with very few people was a treat. Highly recommended. "

"Upgraded amenities, the only negative was the changes made in the Map Room. The property management company built a bar/lounge in the corner of the map room taking away from the historic charm of the Map Room. There’s already a bar in the Mammoth Hotel Dining Room. The new bar wasn’t needed and detracts from the historic nature of the hotel. Now when guests or visitors come through the Map Room they’re lead to believe that the bar is an original part of the Hotel. "

"Great Cabins and lodge area is beautiful. The dining options are good. We loved hanging out on the back-side area in the evenings. Overall a pleasurable stay."
