"What an amazing place! The staff feel like, no are family. These people are the friendliest most thoughtful people. We arrived just after cyclone Irmil, so the weather was not perfect but the stay was. Vinaka!"

"Staff and management who always go the extra mile. Our visit could have been a potential disaster. I am in my 70’s with heart problems. My only criticism of the management is that it states nowhere that the restaurant is up a steep incline with steps then to climb. After my first visit, for me it was impossible .The staff, then surpassed themselves. Their answer was to bring the meals down to my husband and I. Everything was laid out to perfection, served by Peti ,in a courteous manner. Valentines night was stunning, a beautiful table with flowers, decorative serviettes and lots of love. Everyone came to chat, staff and fellow travellers alike. ‘This was one of 4 Fijian islands we stayed on and a place where young and old exchanged stories and enjoyed the relaxing friendly space. "Nabua Lodge This Lodge was the perfect fit for us in the quieter months If you are seeking a Fijian family run good value accommodation with tidy welcoming simple bures the Nabua Lodge would be ideal. The grounds are immaculate and the facilities well cared for. The big bonus was the quality of the meals. The fresh fish was exquisite and the mangoes pineapple and papaya outstanding and the home cooked meals overall were very good. The staff were attentive caring and very friendly Ideal for us we would happily come back."

"I’ve wanted to visit this place for a long time and finally made it. Although it was a bit of a dodgy start arriving late because of weather, we were met with a beautiful Fijian welcome. I will admit I was a tad disappointed originally being put in a tired bure (no 3) surrounded by renovation work, however we were moved the following day into a Deluxe Bure (no 10) which was amazing and much nearer to the beach and pool area. I loved the outdoor shower although it could do with extra toiletries here as the Shampoo etc are fixed indoors. I also enjoyed having a personal hammock and beach chairs that I could retire to with my book. Kadee and her team were absolutely delightful and we ended up having the most amazing 8 nights at this resort. Staff are so friendly and treat you like family. Thank you to Omi, Wati and Manasa (he is very respected being one of the founders) who were always so warm and friendly. The food options are limited, but it’s incredible 5* food and beautifully presented. I really enjoyed the relaxing vibe here except for the odd guest who unfortunately spoiled it by having loud video calls and playing annoying tik toks in public. Although there is a small note at the bottom of the menu, this is not easily visible so a polite verbal mention during the arrival transfer may be a better option to keep noise at bay We also had the same music all week which all the guests noticed and found rather funny so a few more CDs would be good "

"Such a friendly, laid back vibe in a beautiful setting! It had an incredibly warm social environment that was the product of a strong vision and a great team on staff to foster that kind of spirit. Impeccably well-organized operation at check-in, check-out and meal-times. Beautiful beaches, reefs and hill top views. Wonderful dive center with kind staff giving great marine biology talks and tours in addition to snorkel and scuba trips. Great meals. Such an easy place to make to new friends, but also easy to find quiet solo time at. Just the best--would absolutely stay here again."

"Warm welcome by the staff. Well-organized orientation for all new guests to clarify the unique aspects of the resort. My waterfront bure was an absolute dream: spacious and lovely. Plus, getting to stretch out on its personalized loungers at the water's edge was sublime. Dive center was friendly and supportive with a wonderfully educational marine biology emphasis. Reef and coral right out front were spectacular. All resort staff members were so friendly and easy-going. I would absolutely return, in a heartbeat. "
