Nice house in Yakushima

The house is clean and lovely. It was well equipped for what you need. We enjoy the stay there. However, the curtain in the bedroom is not fully covering the light and daylight outside. Also, for the first night we stayed, it was a windy and rainy night, we can't sleep since it is very noisy outside the window (there is a strap hanging around each window).

コーヒーミルの部品がなぜかなく、せっかく買ってきた豆ですコーヒーを入れられませんでしたが、キッチンの設備はお米や調味料も充実していてとても助かりました。　建物が県道に面しているため静かとは言えませんが、部屋は広くて家具も建物も木の香りがしてとてもくつろげました。満足です。

What I just can say is amazing! Cleanliness, hospitality, size of the house, amenity,,,etc. can't find the word to express. What is more, since this inn runs by local people, we can communicate with them! Let's imagine living in the cozy place, having delicious local food with Shochu, hearing the sound of wave, talk with local people feeling ancient forest. All those experience may purify your spirit. 最高以外の言葉が見つからない、素晴らしい宿でした。こんなところに泊まって大丈夫なのか。夢なのか？そう思わせてくれます。 清潔さ、ホスピタリティ、広さ、アメニティどれをとってもこれ以上は見つからないような気がします。 もちろん、ホスピタリティに関しては宿泊者ときちんと距離を取ってくれながらも相談すると、ベストな回答をしてくださいます。 島内のおいしいところ、近所のスーパー事情と情報から観光スポットの相談にも快くのってくださいました。バーベキューセットまで発見し、私たちが手間取りすぎて相談すると火まで起こしてくれました。何より屋久島出身の方が管理されているので、中々旅行にきただけでは味わえない島の人との会話もできたことは、想像をはるかに超えた素晴らしい経験として一生の思い出になるだろうなと思っています。 神々に呼ばれないと来られない島と言われるこの島にこられ、ここに泊めていただけたこと、感謝しかないです。ありがとう！

This house is beautiful and clean and has everything you could possibly need. The host is amazing and so helpful. It’s in a great location close to the town of Yakushima. Unfortunately we got stranded on the island due to bad weather and our host Takashi extended our stay and helped us with monitoring the ferry situation. He is definitely a super host. I give the property 5 stars!
