Very friendly staff, experience good. We stayed in family room - somewhat dated, but very clean. Comfy beds, great selection of pillows. Water pressure awesome. Easy parking. The ONLY thing is the sound proofing between the rooms is not fantastic. It wasn't an issue for us this stay as we had quiet neighbours who turned off their tv early - but could potentially be. Will definitely stay again - will try the updated room next time.

I have stayed here on several occasions and have had an excellent experiences. The staff were cheerful and welcoming. The location is fantastic – it's in a quiet area, but close enough to anything you might need. Communication with the motel was top-notch; they kept me well-informed via SMS, which made everything seamless. My room was clean and tidy, with plenty of mini bar items available. Additionally, the motel's proximity to the airport makes it incredibly convenient if you have a late flight in or an early flight out. I highly recommend this place for anyone needing a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

Hosts are nice and helpful. Pity the whole place needs a bit of loving. The tiles in bathroom need to be redone, as does the cupboards in the kitchen. Could be wonderful if a little $ was spent in a couple of key areas. It's expected by guests nowadays.

Great little motel
A friendly but professionally run motel that has been thoughtfully renovated. Our room was very comfortable and position by the river is very pleasant. Breakfast offerings are really nice, good coffee and reasonably priced. There are lovely walks either way from the motel and so convenient to town shops and facilities. We would be very happy to stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at the Waterford Wynyard, from the friendly reception to the relaxing marine seascape screen saver on the TV. Tastefully decorated in a kinda zen motif, and everything was very clean and functional. Right on the waterfront (as per name), with a nice quiet view and walk-able neighborhood and town. A little hard to find the entrance, but if you go in by the marina, you can walk to the hotel and get directions.
